 Update (11/14/2008)
The following changes are being made to our Single Close construction loan program effective with loans received after 11/20/08.
- For loans requiring mortgage insurance, the minimum credit score is 680. See the Single Close guide program matrix for complete credit score guidelines.
- For loans requiring mortgage insurance, a borrower’s current and future house payment will need to be included in their debt-to-income ratios if the existing residence will not be sold prior to closing on the construction loan. Rental comps will no longer be permitted in these instances.
